Built by people who work weddings.
PickWed comes from inside the wedding industry. Couples spend weeks searching directories before they find someone who fits. We wanted the fit to come first.
Who we are
PickWed is made in Melbourne by Celal Yucel Tombul, who also runs Jay Chubby Wedding, a wedding photography and film business. Working weddings every season is where PickWed’s questions, matching rules and vendor tools come from.
Jay Chubby Wedding is listed on PickWed like any other business: matched under the same rules, paying the same prices, with no special placement.
What we believe
- Couples should see the vendors who fit their wedding, not the ones who paid most.
- Paid placement should always be labelled.
- Your details are yours: no cold calls, no selling data.
- Good vendors deserve enquiries worth answering, and software that doesn’t cost a fortune.
How PickWed makes money
Couples use PickWed for free. Wedding businesses can list and be matched for free, and pay for Premium or Pro when they want our booking software and extra features. We keep a small service fee on card gifts made through a couple’s wishing well. See pricing.
Early access
PickWed is in early access. Everything you can use works, and we’re improving it every week. If something is missing or wrong, tell us: we read everything.
